The Galiano 4Series

The quality of the Galiano 4 Series allows the player increased flexibility in clearly executing technical passages. Additionally, with hand-carved instruments, players may find it easier to apply nuanced details and color to expressive passages.
Each 4 series Galiano begins with premium tonewoods. Next, each aspect of it’s making – carving, fitting together all of the pieces, gluing, purfling inlay, and finishing is carefully supervised by the master luthiers in the EASTMAN STRINGS workshop. An instrument’s varnish has great influence on its performance and sound.    Centuries old recipes and technique are used to apply multiple layer varnish. The special varnish process used on the 4 Series comes from the early 20th century Markneukirchen German workshops. This results in an instrument of unmatched appearance and sound.
